Greenwings are a large, predominantly red macaw with green on the wing.  It is sometimes confused with the scarlet macaw.  Greenwings have a larger head and beak size.  The beak is bone colored.  They have red facial feather line, whereas the scarlet has no facial feather lines.  They weigh between 1250-1700 grams and length is up to 36 inches.
